The 2SK series two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump is equivalent to two SK series liquid ring vacuum pumps connected in series. Since the SK series liquid ring vacuum pump can only achieve an ultimate vacuum of -700 mmHg, the 2SK series vacuum pump was developed domestically in the 1980s to achieve higher vacuums and larger pumping rates under high vacuum conditions. With the advent of the 2BV and 2BE series new generation energy-saving products, the 2SK series will gradually be replaced in many applications.

The 2SK series two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump and the 2SK-P1 series two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump-air jet pump unit are used to extract air and other non-corrosive, water-insoluble, and solid-free gases to obtain higher vacuums in sealed containers. It is widely used in vacuum evaporation, vacuum concentration, vacuum impregnation, vacuum drying, and vacuum smelting in the food, textile, chemical, pharmaceutical, metallurgical, and electronics industries.
